The Grievance Committee is held on the second Tuesday of the month at 6:00 PM in the Sunrise Office by APPOINTMENT ONLY. If you wish to appeal a citation that you have been issued, here are the procedures that you must follow:
Please obtain a grievance form under "forms and documents" and mail, fax or bring to the office within 14 days of issuance of your citation.
Once your appeal is received you will have an opportunity to appear at one of the next two regularly scheduled grievance meetings. Failure to appear at either meeting will result in the the citation(s) automatically being upheld, without further recourse. As an alternative to appearing, you may sign a waiver which is included in the mailing, allowing the grievance committee to base their decision on your appeal letter. Whether you choose to appear in person or waive your right to appear and appeal via mail, all decisions made by the committee shall be deemed final.
